This is a HUGE game for Real Madrid to earn a championship win in la liga and also there is a huge rivalvry between the two clubs. There are only 2 more games in la liga and if Real Sociedad beat Celta Vigo and Real Madid fail to beat Atl Madrid, then Real Sociedad will be champions. Real Madrid will be at full strength with midfielder Guti recovering from the ankle injury that kept him out of Spain's recent Euro 2004 qualifiers. Atletico Madrid will be without suspended defender Cosmin Contra.

I expect Real Madrid to do their job and it would be a great disappointment if the 'best' team in the world failed to win ANYTHING this year with a starting 11 that they have!.

I think Real Madrid probably gets there. The one thing that concerns me in a match like this is Atletico Madrid will drop everyone back and pack the defense in and try to hit on the counter attack. This tactic has given Real Madrid trouble all year. They get frustrated when their passing lanes are closed down and they start forcing things and before they know it, the other side comes streaming down the pitch against a very suspect defense.

Real are obviously in a must win spot so will take them for a small play at -150 to win.

i am going small with the x/2 and 1/2 halftime fulltime results, these two have been the story of madrid this year in the primera pretty much so i reckon those two are worth a small punt.
